i have had a day of knitting, tv, and relaxing. I have been working on an Auntie Em scarf.

I started with 2 balls of the red/black Moods yarn, After getting to the end of the first ball I decided to do the second half of the scarf in the teal/black Moods. I hope it looks as good when done as it does in my head.

The pattern was inspired by a suggestion of the owner of Natural Stitches. It is calleds the Auntie Em scarf.

Multiple of 4 + 1 K3, P1: repeat to last stitch, K1. Repeat above for desired length of scarf.

thursday evening

Well i dont have verry much time to knit during the week and being i am a newbie i am not a fast nitter but i manage to squeeze in a couple hrs while watching tv each night. so to the point of this post: as of the 9:39 pm measurement i am up to 40 inches on my moods scarf, and even if i do say so myself i think it looks awesome. and i am surprised that having 40 inches i still have some yarn left from my first ball it is going farther than i expected . here is a picture and goodnight.

Christmas present

well i gave mom her christmas present a couple months ago which was a gps. and today i got my present the complete dvd series of Gilmore Girls.
i am a big fan of the show because the relationship between the mother and daughter is so close to the relationship mom and i have.

i gave her her gift early because she had more need for it then than now.

2 current projects

Well here is a picture with 2 current projects I am working on. The 1 on the right is a steeler scarf done in stockinette stitch just to practice because I started knitting way too tight. and because I am a Steeler fan.

The 1 on the left is a scarf made from Moods yarn that I fell in love with when i saw it at Natural Stitches http://www.naturalstitches.com and the pattern was designed by the owner Martha. It works up fast especially on a size 11 needle.

Christmas morning

Well it is Christmas morning and i have the day off just like alot of other people. i plan on relaxing and knitting. I just started knitting a few weeks ago. i finished a hat that was a christmas gift. it was a hit. i am new to the blogging so please bear with me
